A little bit about me!

I am a qualified Systemic Family Psychotherapist, registered with the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice. I am incredibly passionate about working with people to create a safe space where they can engage in different and sometimes challenging conversations.

I fundamentally believe that we should not wait until breaking point to access therapeutic support and instead, think of therapy as a space to explore, share and grow at any stage of one’s life.

I also currently work in the NHS within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health context and access regular training.

I work in a neuroaffirmative way, recognising that each person has a different way of processing information, communicating and experiencing the world. I recognised that neurodivergence brings its own unique perspectives, strengths, challenges and lived experiences. I view neurodivergence as a natural human difference, not something that needs to be ‘fixed’ or ‘changed’ and each person deserves to be seen, heard and respected for who they are.

In my private work, I engage in monthly supervision with an experienced systemic supervisor, which helps me to support you in the best way.

In my previous professional life, I was a primary school teacher, and I hold this identity close to my heart.

I was born and brought up in Kenya, and have a love for the outdoors. I also enjoy cooking, sport and spending time with my family and friends.
